The Snaggletooth shark (Hemipristis elongata) is a slender, light grey and slender sharks with a long snout. They also have very long gill slits and fins that are strongly curved.
Snaggletooth sharks rare weasel shark in the Indo-West Pacific, known for its distinctively curved, serrated teeth that hook and slice prey like fish and crustaceans, growing up to 8 feet long; while large, ancient relatives were apex predators, modern Snaggletooths are smaller and less common, often sought by fossil hunters for their unique teeth found globally, representing a genus that once thrived millions of years ago but declined, with fossils frequently discovered.
